Soccer Game Preview: Auburn Riverside vs. Mt. Rainier

The Auburn Riverside Ravens are taking a road trip to challenge the Mt. Rainier Rams at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburn Riverside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Last Wednesday, Auburn Riverside didn't have quite enough to beat Stadium and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, neither Mt. Rainier nor Kentwood could gain the upper hand on Wednesday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Auburn Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3-4. Mt. Rainier's draw makes their record 3-2-3 this season.

Auburn Riverside was able to grind out a solid victory over Mt. Rainier in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Ravens since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
