Basketball Game Preview: Vigor Wolves vs. Choctawhatchee Indians

The Vigor Wolves and the Choctawhatchee Indians will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vigor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Choctawhatchee likes a good challenge.

Vigor will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Murphy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Vigor walked away with a 59-46 win over Murphy on Tuesday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Wolves' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Panthers are ranked 50th).

Meanwhile, Choctawhatchee ended up a good deal behind Milton on Saturday and lost 64-48.

Vigor is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points per game. As for Choctawhatchee, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
