Volleyball Recap: North Shore Wins Going Away Against Macarthur

After losing to MacArthur the last time they met, North Shore decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs blew past the Generals 3-0 on Friday.

One reason for the win was North Shore's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-15.

Amaya Edwards paced North Shore's offense, picking up 11 kills. Edwards got some help from Madison Gray and her 19 assists. Gray was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

North Shore's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for MacArthur, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Shore will square off against Clear Brook at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for MacArthur, they will venture away from home to square off against Alief Hastings at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
