The Biloxi Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Moss Point Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Biloxi is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Biloxi easily dispatched Vancleave on Tuesday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. Biloxi fell just short of Pass Christian by a score of 2-0 on Friday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Kya Gammons was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over 4.2 innings pitched.

At the plate, Biloxi saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Symaria (Sammie) Edmond, who went 1-for-3 with one double. Another was Aubrey Hill, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, Moss Point had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Resurrection Catholic on Thursday as Moss Point made off with a 26-13 win. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Biloxi suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 6-3. As for Moss Point, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
