Football Recap: IKM/Manning Comes Up Short

If IKM/Manning was riding high fresh off their 49-22 takedown of South Central Calhoun last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolves took a 21-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodbury Central Wildcats on Friday. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

IKM/Manning's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Woodbury Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. IKM/Manning will welcome Akron-Westfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodbury Central, they will host Gehlen Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jays will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last.
