Basketball Recap: School of the Ozarks Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Timba Saffle and Canaan Thomas

School of the Ozarks saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pierce City Eagles, falling 57-37.

Despite the defeat, School of the Ozarks had strong showings from Canaan Thomas, who shot 42% from the field to rack up 12 points and six boards, and Timba Saffle, who posted 14 points.

School of the Ozarks' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Pierce City, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

School of the Ozarks wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-21 victory against Exeter on the 5th. As for Pierce City, they have also already played their next contest, a 49-43 defeat against New Heights Christian Academy on the 6th.
