Volleyball Recap: Clare Pioneers vs. Standish-Sterling Panthers        
        
		
             Clare won the last time they faced Standish-Sterling, and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Clare Pioneers walked away with  a   3-1  win over the Standish-Sterling Panthers. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Pioneers.
 Clare walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 22-25,  25-23.
  Addison Mcmillan was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 22  digs and three  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 12 or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Clare  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in four consecutive  matchups.
 Clare's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Standish-Sterling,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-9-4.
 After both having extra time off, Clare and Bullock Creek will shake off the cobwebs and  face off against  one another  at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Bullock Creek is coming into the  game with three straight  losses on the road,  meaning Clare will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  victory. As for Standish-Sterling, they will venture away from home to  square off against Shepherd  at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
