Basketball Recap: Leedey's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

Leedey had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.9 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They took down the Mooreland Bearcats 67-51. Given the Bison's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Bearcats are ranked 330th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Leedey is also on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Mooreland, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-14.

Leedey didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-32 win against Laverne on the 5th. Mooreland has also already played their next contest (against Fairview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
