Soccer Recap: Franklin Parish Comes Up Short

Franklin Parish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the St. Frederick Warriors an easy 8-0 win. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Patriots this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Saturday.

Franklin Parish's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for St. Frederick, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Parish will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Delta Charter at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. St. Frederick will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Neville at 5:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
