After a string of five wins, West Adams's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

West Adams' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2. As for Math & Science College Preparatory, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Coincidentally, West Adams and Math & Science College Preparatory will both be playing Diego Rivera the next time they take the court. West Adams will head out to face Diego Rivera at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while Math & Science College Preparatory will host them at 4:30 p.m. on March 19th.
