Baseball Recap: Beverly Panthers vs. Gloucester Fishermen
While it was Beverly who put the first runs on the board on Monday, it was Gloucester who put up more. The Panthers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fishermen. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Fishermen recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Beverly saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Charles Salerno, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Salerno's first of the season. Danny Pierce was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

The Fishermen are on a six-game streak of home wins, the Tanners a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
