Lyons entered their tilt with Republic County on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Buffaloes get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lyons pushed their record up to 6-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Republic County, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyons will venture away from home to square off against Minneapolis on Thursday. As for Republic County, they will head out to challenge Sacred Heart at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
