Softball Game Preview: Glenwood Gators vs. Beulah Bobcats

Glenwood is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will venture away from home to face off against the Beulah Bobcats at 4:30 p.m.

Glenwood lost 9-3 to Smiths Station on Monday.

Glenwood saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Crisco, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Beulah beat Valley 6-3 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Madison Tapley was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in home runs (two). Claire Dubose also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

The victory got Beulah back to even at 8-8. As for Glenwood, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-12.
