Volleyball Recap: Norton Gets the Win

Norton won the last time they faced Randolph and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lancers narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Blue Devils 3-2.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 29-27, 15-25, 27-29, 18-16.

Andrew Strojny paced Norton's offense, picking up 26 kills. Strojny got some help from Anthony D'Amore and his 44 assists.

The victory got Norton back to even at 7-7. As for Randolph, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-7.

Norton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Medfield on the 12th. Randolph has also already played their next contest (against Weymouth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
