Baseball Recap: A+ Charter School Wins Going Away Against Gila Bend

A+ Charter School won the last time they faced Gila Bend and things went their way on Thursday too. A+ Charter School was the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Gila Bend. The Maricopa might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by seven runs or more this season.

Carson De Paola was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Jose Coronado was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

A+ Charter School's win bumped their record up to 6-1-1. As for Gila Bend, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.
