Football Game Preview: Pine Belt Spartans vs. Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS

The Pine Belt Spartans will take on the Meridian HomeSchool FLYERS at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Pine Belt is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Pine Belt is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Mississippi's top teams: Meridian HomeSchool, who was ranked 20th at the time (Pine Belt was ranked 11th). The Spartans blew past the FLYERS 46-6 last Saturday. The Spartans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Samuel Smith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 134 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. He has become a key player for Pine Belt: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
