Basketball Recap: Blue Earth Takes a Loss

Blue Earth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Pipestone Arrows, falling 75-50. The Buccaneers lost against the Arrows in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 51-48 score last time.

Blue Earth's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Pipestone, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Blue Earth will square off against Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Pipestone, they will face off against Edgerton at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
