Baseball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West was the 5-0 winner over Whitney when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The West Trojans fell 8-3 to the Whitney Wildcats on Friday.

West's loss dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Whitney, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

Coming up, West will face off against Clifton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Clifton's hitters will have their work cut out for them. Whitney will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Rio Vista at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th.
