Basketball Recap: Moorhead Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Moorhead and Brainerd squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Moorhead had to settle for second. They took a 67-53 bruising from the Brainerd Warriors. The defeat continues a trend for the Spuds in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost five in a row.

Moorhead now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Brainerd, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 21-4.

As of now, neither Moorhead nor Brainerd have any future games scheduled.
