Auburn Mountainview put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 46-36 win over the Jackson Timberwolves. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Timberwolves are ranked 197th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Auburn Mountainview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sebastian Arius, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Arius a new career-high in steals (seven). Kolven Posey was another key player, going 5 for 10 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Auburn Mountainview pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Jackson, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Auburn Mountainview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 69-48 win against Kelso on the 26th. Jackson and Prairie will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th.
