Volleyball Game Preview: Everett Seagulls vs. Stanwood Spartans + Official Tickets

Everett hasn't had much luck against Stanwood recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Seagulls will look to defend their home court against the Spartans at 7:00 p.m.

Everett lost 3-0 to Snohomish on Tuesday.

Despite their loss, Everett saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ava Urbanozo, who had 21 assists and nine digs, was perhaps the best of all. Urbanozo is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 21 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Regan-Bone, who had 11 digs.

Meanwhile, Stanwood came tearing into Tuesday's contest with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Bearcats.

Stanwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-1-1. As for Everett, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.
