Soccer Recap: Casa Grande Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three contests, Casa Grande finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Catalina Foothills Falcons. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Casa Grande's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Catalina Foothills, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Casa Grande has already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Buckeye on the 31st. As for Catalina Foothills, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Canyon del Oro on the 4th.
