Pamlico County has gone a perfect 6-0 against Bear Grass Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Hurricanes will take on the Bears at 6:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, Pamlico County came up short against Holmes and fell 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-15, 23-25, 25-23.

Hayley Shamblin put forth a good effort for the losing side as she had 15 digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, Bear Grass Charter hadn't done well against Northside - Pinetown recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bears blew past the Panthers 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Bear Grass Charter walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20, 25-21.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Pamlico County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Everything went Pamlico County's way against Bear Grass Charter when the teams last played back in August of 2024, as Pamlico County made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hurricanes since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
