Soccer Recap: Bethesda Christian Gets the Win

Bethesda Christian kept a clean sheet against Herron on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Achaeans. Given Bethesda Christian's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 115th, while Herron are ranked 233rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bethesda Christian's one-goal win came courtesy of Max Greene, who's now up to five this season.

Bethesda Christian pushed their record up to 6-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those three contests. As for Herron, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Bethesda Christian has already played their next matchup, a 4-0 victory against Liberty Christian on the 20th. As for Herron, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Christel House on the 23rd.
