Atchison won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Thursday too. The Phoenix blew past the Wildcats 19-2. The result was nothing new for the Phoenix, who have now won six matches by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Kirrah Duncan made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Duncan was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
