Baseball Recap: Hannan Comes Up Short

Hannan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-2 to the Buffalo Bison. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 17-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2021.

Hannan's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Buffalo, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hannan will welcome Teays Valley Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 10.9 runs per game this season. As for Buffalo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Charleston Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
