Basketball Recap: John Adams Drops Highest Score of Season Against Medgar Evers College Prep

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Adams). They took down Medgar Evers College Prep 63-46 on Sunday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Medgar Evers College Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Scobie, who posted 15 points and eight assists. Tyree Keitt was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five assists and five boards.

John Adams' win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Medgar Evers College Prep, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.

John Adams will host Jamaica at 5:00 p.m. on January 28th. John Adams is facing Jamaica at the right time seeing as Jamaica is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
