Bishop Gorman hadn't done well against Dallas Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Everything went the Bishop Gorman Crusaders' way against the Dallas Christian Chargers as the Bishop Gorman Crusaders made off with a 65-40 victory. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 21 points or more this season.

Bishop Gorman got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Beau Bender out in front who went 5 for 10 on his way to 13 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Jaylon Miles, who posted eight points along with nine assists and three steals.

Bishop Gorman was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dallas Christian only racked up five assists.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Quintin Hankins, who went 5 of 12 en route to 11 points and five rebounds. Dylan Belt also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Bishop Gorman's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. As for Dallas Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-17.

Bishop Gorman will challenge McKinney Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. McKinney Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Bishop Gorman surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dallas Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shelton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dallas Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.7 points per game this season.
