After a string of nine wins, Franklin Learning Center's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 61-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Motivation Jaguars. If the Bobcats were looking for revenge after losing 63-61 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

When it comes to explaining why Franklin Learning Center lost, don't look at Gary Bailey. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten assists. Bailey is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games he's played. Another player making a difference was Evan Crawford, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

Bailey wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Franklin Learning Center was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Motivation only posted six assists.

Motivation's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Siriman Singare, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance gave Singare a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chace White, who posted 14 points along with five boards and five steals.

Franklin Learning Center's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 12-2. As for Motivation, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Franklin Learning Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-35 victory against Girard Academic Music Program on the 28th. Motivation has also already played their next matchup, a 50-44 win against Science Leadership Academy on the 28th.
