Volleyball Recap: St. Katharine Drexel Comes Up Short

St. Katharine Drexel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Eleanor McMain Mustangs, falling 3-0. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Mustangs when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Katharine Drexel's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Eleanor McMain, their win bumped their record up to 7-12.

St. Katharine Drexel will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Mary's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on October 8. As for Eleanor McMain, they will take on John Ehret at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
