League recap: Flood throws longest pass in league this season for Central

B District 2 (8 Man) recap October 8, 2013

Joseph Flood and Chance Matthesen provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Paoli. The connection went for 55 yards, the longest such play in B District 2 (8 Man) this season.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Central beat the Pugs 46-0. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Bronchos.

Jake Fourkiller made the biggest impact on defense this week as Cyril beat Waurika. The 6-foot-2 senior grabbed 3 sacks.

Jeffery Williams was a beast in the backfield as the Pirates defeated the Eagles.

Williams provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Cyril defeated Waurika.

Williams was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 34 carries, he ran for 470 yards as Josh O'Brien's team beat Paoli. Jacob Robertson also contributed to the rushing game with 52 yards on the ground.

Central's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Bronchos feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kade Taylor has thrown for 588 yards and 7 touchdowns this season, while John Repp has 10 catches for 235 yards.

An important game coming up in B District 2 (8 Man) this week will be when Allen takes on Alex. The Mustangs are in fifth place, while the Longhorns are in second place.

Geary lost to Allen 62-15 last week, the largest margin of any game.
