Oak Ridge put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Whitney Wildcats 8-2. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six  runs or more this season.
 Ellison Schroeder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Berkeley Lampe was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Carmen Montes De Oca, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
Oak Ridge's victory was  their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-0. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Whitney,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-4.
 Oak Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  5-1  victory against Del Oro on the 21st. As for Whitney, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  16-3  win against Davis Sr. on the 21st.
