If Bishop Carroll wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Central Cambria, they should've done a better job of containing Rowan Ruddek. The Red Devils skirted past the Huskies 3-2 with plenty of help from Ruddek, who had 29 digs and three aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.8 digs per game.

Central Cambria had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 18-25, 25-15, 26-24, 19-17.

Bishop Carroll's loss on Thursday came despite strong showings from Kylee Newfield and Olivia Gregg. Newfield had 12 digs, while Gregg had 29 digs, 16 kills, three aces, and one block. Gregg is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last six games she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Central Cambria and bumps their season record up to 12-3-1. As for Bishop Carroll, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-2.

Central Cambria has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Bishop McCort on the 20th. As for Bishop Carroll, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Richland on the 22nd.
