Volleyball Recap: Sheridan Takes a Loss

Sheridan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Jefferson Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 2nd.

Sheridan's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Jefferson, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 6-16 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sheridan will square off against rival Englewood at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Jefferson is set to face off against their familiar foe Alameda at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
