Soccer Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Richland was a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Birdville Hawks. The Royals have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Birdville, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Richland and Birdville will both be playing Grapevine the next time they take the pitch. Birdville will head out to face Grapevine at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Richland will host them at 6:30 p.m. on March 7th.
