Basketball Preview: Delavan Panthers vs. Midwest Central Raiders
The Delavan Panthers will be playing at home against the Midwest Central Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Delavan focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Saturday.
Last Saturday, Delavan beat the Patriots 38-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for Delavan.
Delavan can attribute much of their success to Cole Noreuil, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach McLean, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Midwest Central's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by Farmington 65-35.
Delavan is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-12 record this season. As for Midwest Central, their loss dropped their record down to 3-22.
Delavan was able to grind out a solid victory over the Raiders in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 62-53. Does Delavan have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
