There's no place like home for Houston Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Carroll Eagles a 10-0 shutout on Monday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Houston Academy pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Carroll, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Houston Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Carroll: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
