Baseball Recap: Newport Triumphs

Newport won the last time they faced Prospect Mountain and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tigers had just enough and edged out the Timberwolves 11-10.

Newport's victory bumped their record up to 2-11. As for Prospect Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Newport will host Gilford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Prospect Mountain, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-2 defeat against Monadnock on the 16th.
