Softball Recap: Clear Lake Has No Trouble Against Clear Falls

After losing to Clear Falls the last time they met, Clear Lake decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Clear Lake was the clear victor by an 11-2 margin over Clear Falls on Tuesday. Considering the Falcons have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Clear Lake and bumps their season record up to 12-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Clear Falls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clear Lake is set to take on their familiar foe Brazoswood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clear Falls will square off against rival Deer Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
