Softball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Covenant Christian

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Covenant Christian ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Allendale Falcons 12-11. The victory was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Covenant Christian's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.1 runs over those games. As for Allendale, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.
