Basketball Recap: Hayden Takes a Loss

Hayden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Springville Tigers 81-29. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 379th, while the Tigers are ranked 117th).

Hayden's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Springville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hayden will head out to face off against Center Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Springville, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Springville Tigers challenge the Fort Payne Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
