Recap: Salisbury Township Falcons vs. Pen Argyl Green Knights
Salisbury Township lost against Pen Argyl back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Salisbury Township Falcons wound up on the wrong side of a tough 15-7 walloping at the hands of the Pen Argyl Green Knights.
Nate Nunez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Stauffer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Salisbury Township's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Salisbury Township will play host again on Friday to welcome Northwestern Lehigh, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. As for Pen Argyl, they will head out on the road to square off against Wilson Area at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
