Graham had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Tazewell Bulldogs by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Given Graham's advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 44th, while Tazewell are ranked 144th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory was the ninth in a row for Graham, bringing their record up to 17-2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 51 goals over those nine matches. As for Tazewell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-7-3.
