Baseball Recap: Braddock Triumphs

Braddock picked up another tournament win on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Thompson Warriors 6-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Braddock got a great performance from Kevin Orta as he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs over 4.1 innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jorge Gonzalez, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2025.

Braddock kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.

Braddock's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Thompson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Looking ahead, Braddock will take on Maine South in a tournament on Wednesday. As for Thompson, they will head out on the road to challenge Oakland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
