East Poinsett County posted their biggest victory since December 27, 2024 on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Corning Bobcats with a sharp 68-42 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Leading East Poinsett County to victory were Jacob Gaines and Tyrus Reel. Gaines went 9 of 14 on his way to 21 points and eight boards, while Reel made all 5 shots he took for 11 points and four steals. Gaines' evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Drake Williams, who posted seven points.

East Poinsett County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
