Basketball Game Preview: Cumberland Beavers vs. Cameron Comets

Cumberland hasn't had much luck against Cameron recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Beavers will welcome the Comets at 5:45 p.m. Cumberland has given up an average of 57 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, Cumberland ended up a good deal behind Spring Valley and lost 64-48.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Cameron, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top against Ladysmith by a score of 62-54 on Monday. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Lumberjacks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Cameron's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Cumberland, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
