Basketball Recap: Friday's Loss Ends Parker-Tarrant Homeschool's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to the Dallas HSAA Angels 49-43. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Defeat or not, Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool got some senior leadership from Timothy Jones and Toby Pike. Jones went 7 for 17 en route to 19 points, while Pike dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The contest was Jones' fifth in a row with at least ten points.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 23-5. As for Dallas HSAA, they moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool and Texas Lions HomeSchool will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Texas Lions HomeSchool will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool surely won't give up without a fight. Dallas HSAA does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
