Basketball Recap: Darbi Hunsberger's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mt. Carmel Christian Academy over Grace Christian

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Grace Christian Warriors, falling 39-19. That's two games in a row now that Mt. Carmel Christian Academy has lost by exactly 20 points.

Mt. Carmel Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Darbi Hunsberger, who posted five points. Rebekah Shifflett was another key player, putting up two points.

It was another big night for Aubrey Greenmun, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 rebounds for Grace Christian. With that strong performance, Greenmun is now averaging an impressive 8.1 boards per game. Another player making a difference was Emily Vogan, who put up eight points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

As for Grace Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-19 win against United Christian Academy on the 24th.
