Softball Recap: Sutter Has No Trouble Against Carson

Sutter picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Carson Senators with a sharp 9-3 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Ryleigh Lemenager made a splash no matter where she played. She tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Lemenager was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Paytyn Schamanski was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. Adison Miller also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Sutter was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Sutter's record now sits at 4-2. As for Carson, they now have a losing record of 2-3-1.

Sutter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 21-2 victory against Natomas on the 11th. As for Carson, they have also already played their next game, a 7-5 win against Damonte Ranch on the 11th.
