Baseball Recap: Central Islip Comes Up Short

Central Islip was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 28th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the William Floyd Colonials, falling 18-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colonials this season, with their most recent loss being a 18-0 defeat on Thursday.

Central Islip's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for William Floyd, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8.

As of now, neither Central Islip nor the Colonials have any future games scheduled.
